The growing popularity of ballroom dance is quickly confirmed by looking at the ratings of ABC during the Olympic games. The show "Dancing with the Stars" had 1,000,000 viewers more than the Olympics.

The First Coast Classic Dancesport Championship will be held at the World Golf Village Renaissance Resort in Jacksonville, Florida on Sep 30th-Oct 2nd 2010. It will be likely telecast within Jacksonville as discussions are currently being held with producers and cable networks such as ESPN & JU Local network.
